Objectified is Gary Hustwit's latest "feature-length documentary about our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them."
This film proceeds Hustwit's first documentary Helvetica. It aired on PBS you may have seen it (or you might have bought it on iTunes like I did, and then realized it's on TV all the time fo freeeee). Helvetica was good and i recommend everyone go watch it...although beware because after you watch it the amount of Helvetica Typeface in your life will freak you out. Hahah there are also some weird 'type-snob' design dudes that nerd out pretty hard in their interviews. All and All it was a good flick that makes you think about the world around you and how design effects you (us designers love this shit). I would recommend seeing Helvetica and catch Objectified when its out in March.
